The words in Matthew 16:6 are very powerful! The Bible says “ Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” Here’s the definition of heed and beware below: - HEED, verb transitive To mind; to regard with care; to take notice of; to attend to; to observe. - Beware: 1. Literally, to restrain or guard one's self from. Hence, to regard with caution; to restrain one's self from anything that may be dangerous, injurious or improper; to avoid; to take care; followed by of before the thing that is to be avoided. It’s very important to watch out for Leaven which is bad doctrine. It only takes a small amount to “ferment” a Christian! That’s what leaven does “ferments “ Christians and make them stupid!
